CP3O is a progressive jazz quartet based in Denver, CO. Consisting of saxophonist Daryl Gott, guitarist Aaron Summerfield, percussionist Kevin Matthews, and bassist Kim Bird, the ensemble has been performing together for the past five years. Their sound draws from a plethora of influences, ranging from J.S. Bach to David Bowie, with an eye towards testing the expressive and aesthetic boundaries of modern jazz.
The band will be performing selections from their extensive catalog of original music, several brand-new compositions, and a couple classic rock covers and/or power ballads.
